简介: Guoqiang Mao (S'98-M'02-SM'08) received PhD in telecommunications engineering in 2002 from Edith Cowan University. He was with the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, the University of Sydney between 2002 and 2014. He joined the University of Technology Sydney in February 2014 as Professor of Wireless Networking and Director of Center for Real-time Information Networks. The Center is among the largest university research centers in Australia in the field of wireless communications and networking. He has published 200 papers in international conferences and journals, which have been cited more than 4000 times. He is an editor of the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications (since 2014), IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (since 2010) and received “Top Editor” award for outstanding contributions to the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology in 2011, 2014 and 2015. He is a co-chair of IEEE Intelligent Transport Systems Society Technical Committee on Communication Networks. He has served as a chair, co-chair and TPC member in a large number of international conferences. His research interest includes intelligent transport systems, applied graph theory and its applications in telecommunications, wireless sensor networks, wireless localization techniques and network performance analysis.
报告摘要1: Capacity of Infrastructure-based Cooperative CSMA Vehicular Networks - Vehicular network capacity can be influenced by a number of factors including vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communications, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications, mobility of vehicles and cooperation among vehicles and infrastructure. In this talk, I will present a cooperative communication strategy that explores the combined use of aforementioned factors improve the achievable capacity of vehicular network. An analytical framework is developed to model the data dissemination process using this strategy, and a closed form expression of the achievable capacity is obtained, which reveals the relationship between the achievable capacity and its major performance-impacting parameters such as inter-infrastructure distance, radio ranges of infrastructure and vehicles, sensing range of vehicles, transmission rates of V2I and V2V communications, vehicular density and the proportion of vehicles with download requests. Numerical result shows that the proposed cooperative communication strategy significantly increases the capacity of vehicular networks, especially when the proportion of vehicles with download request is low. Our results provide guidance on the optimum deployment of vehicular network infrastructure and the design of cooperative communication strategy to maximize the capacity.
报告摘要2: How to conduct high-quality research - In this talk, based on our experience and lessons we learned in the past on supervising PhD students and postdocs, I will give my perspective on how to conduct high-quality research. The talk will begin with three rules that PhD students and junior researchers need to know before they start their research career. Then, it covers major stages of research, including how to conduct literature review, how to select the right topic, how to start working on the problem and how to write research papers. The talk will be particularly beneficial for PhD students and junior researchers.

简介: 陈晓江,男,博士,西北大学信息科学与技术学院教授,博士生导师,中国计算机学会理事,ACM 西安分会秘书长,ACM中国Sigmobile委员,西北信息科学与技术学院副院长,CCF YOCSEF西安2014-2016学术主席,中国计算机学会西安分部执委,中国计算机学会物联网专委会委员、教育部创新团队文化遗产数字化保护与传播骨干成员、西安市物联网遗址保护工程实验室副主任、西北大学爱迪德信息安全联合实验室副主任、大型文化遗产智能感知中意联合实验室副主任。先后在意大利SALENTO大学进和加州大学洛杉矶分校(UCLA)进行访问研究。
近年的研究工作主要集中在无线网络、嵌入式系统与智能硬件、无线位置计算,物联网(无线传感器网络)、移动互联网与系统安全等,先后主持了国家自然科学基金、国家科技支撑计划子课题、教育部重点研究项目等多个项目。在Mobicom(CCF A )、CoNext(CCF B)、Infocom(CCF A )、ICNP(CCF B )、NDSS(安全四大著名会议,CCF B)等知名国际会议和Transactions on Mobile Computing(TMC,CCF A )、IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics(TIE,1区,2013IF=6.5)、IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications (TWC,CCF B)、《软件学报》、《计算机学报》等国际、国内一流期刊发表论文50余篇。申报国家发明专利32项,其中授权发明专利15项,获国家软件著作版权29项,省市科技进步奖2项。目前成果大量应用于大型文化遗址保护、生态资源与动物保护,取得较好的社会影响。
报告摘要: 无线感知:从梦想到现实-以感知信号扰动与变化特征为核心的无线定位技术,将在未来极大的改变和影响人类生活而成为历史上最为精彩的一刻,如利用WiFi 信号检测墙壁后人体移动方向和位置,在商场实现无需顾客参与的消费者移动轨迹跟踪,利用RFID精确实现商品定位等。我们将以文化遗产保护和野生动物保护领域研究为背景,介绍本团队近年来在定位领域主要的工作。

简介:段宗涛,工学博士,教授,长安大学信息工程学院副院长。1997年于西北工业大学获计算机应用学士学位,2002年于长安大学获交通运输工程硕士学位,2006年于西北工业大学获计算机应用博士学位。2006年进入长安大学信息工程学院从事计算应用技术领域的教学和科研工作,同年进入交通运输工程博士后流动站从事博士后研究。目前是中国计算机学会会员,中国计算机学会Yocsef西安主席,CCF西安分部执行委员、秘书长,中国计算机学会高性能计算专业委员会、普适计算专业委员会委员,陕西省公路学会会员。主要研究方向:交通信息服务技术、交通信息综合处理及应用、大数据处理与云计算技术及应用。

简介:唐蕾,工学博士,长安大学信息工程学院副教授,硕士生导师。CCF YOCSEF2016-2017年度西安学术秘书,西北工业大学优秀博士论文(2014)。2009年至2010年在德国曼海姆大学计算机系从事研究工作。作为项目负责人和主要研究人员承担或参与国家自然科学基金3项,交通运输部应用基础研究项目1项、陕西省留学归国人员、陕西省自然基金、陕西省科学技术研究发展计划等部委项目5项。近年研究工作主要集中在交通信息服务计算、出行行为分析与应用、车载机会网络路由机制、车联网软件的高可信构造方法。
